On 23 November VAG took part in a big event in Mannheim called ‘Nacht der Unternehmen’.

At a booth in the John Deere Forum VAG employ-ees informed visitors about our products and the ca-reer opportunities at VAG. Numerous visitors then used the opportunity to come to the VAG plant in one of four shuttle buses. Thanks to our direct con-tact, we could also welcome groups of secondary modern school students as well as students from technical universities of the region on this day. From the afternoon until late in the evening, guided tours through the Visitor Center, the Technology Center and the production facilities were offered. The au-tomotive fans among the visitors were able to have a close look at the racing car of Mannheim Universi-ty’s ‘Delta Racing Team’. VAG supports students in their participation in the international ‘Formula Stu-dent’ project. Team members were glad to answer visitors’ questions.

The colourful programme and the flexibility of our employees in the way they organised the guided tours allowed us to provide target-group oriented visits, no matter whether the visitors were pupils, students, university graduates or professionals. A total of almost 200 visitors interested in our compa-ny enjoyed an exciting and informative event.
